Abstract

|
Obstruction of the bowel by an impacted gallstone is an unusual but well recognized entity. In most
large series of intestinal obstructions, gallstones account for 1∼2% of all cases. This is a case of
gallstone ileus in a 63 year-old male. The stone was impacted in the ilim 3㎝ proximal to the ileo
cecal junction.
